The Saskatchewan Prairies The province of Saskatchewan is located in the country between Canada and the provinces of Alberta and Manitoba, they call this province a prairie province because of its simplicity. The economy of Saskatchewan is committed to the agricultural sector, but has led to challenges such as agriculture, fishing, hunting and forestry account for 6.8% of GDP of the province. Wheat is the most familiar crop, and perhaps a stereotype associated with the province, but other cereals such as oats, rapeseed, rye, peas, barley, lentils, canary seed and flax are also produced. Saskatchewan is the largest supplier of uranium, and the provision of a substantial part of the United States of America. Saskatchewan has many attractions to offer, beautiful golf course, an abundance of lakes where you can spend hours doing water activities like fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, diving in fresh water.
